Below is a simple chart of estimated delivery times based on the length of our warehouse processing time and the average time it
takes the carrier to deliver your order to your doorstep:
Delivery available Monday - Friday. Saturday delivery available in some areas by request only (call for details).
How to order.
SBK9U uses a shopping cart order system. To place
an order, start with a category, or search by keywords, both in the bar at
the left of this and every page.
To order any item, place a number in the order quantity
box and click 'Add to shopping cart' (on product pages) or 'Buy Now' (on product listings). Repeat this process as often
as you like for more items. As you add items to your cart, they will appear in the Shopping Cart Information Box on the top right column/side of every page throughout the store.
For a more detailed view of your cart, or, to modify your cart contents (i.e., increase/decrease the quantity for any item and/or remove items from your cart), click the arrow located in the upper-right corner of the Shopping Cart Information Box. Alternately, you may click the 'Cart Contents' link or the Shopping Cart button/icon which are both located in the header of every page throughout Steve's Store (top-right corner of every page). If you have no activity for 6 hours your cart will
normally be deleted as a security precaution.
When you have selected all of the items you want, click
the Check
Out link (or, if you prefer, the Checkout button/icon) located in the header of every page throughout Steve's Store. This
will take you into the secure area, where you may send personal information
in confidence. You will be guided through an easy three-step Checkout process:
(1) Delivery Information: You will be asked to enter your shipping address for the current order.
(2) Payment Information: You will be asked to select a payment method (Credit Card or PayPal), enter your credit card information (when selecting that method of payment) as well as any comments regarding your order.
(3) Confirmation: The details of your order will be displayed for your review. Simply click one of the 'Edit' links to make any changes or corrections to your order. When your order is correct and you are ready to complete your purchase, you can submit your order to SBK9U by clicking the 'Confirm Order' button.

Search for a specific product by typing a word, words,
or partial word in the Search
Site box and
press enter on your keyboard. It will find all items with those words in the
description. Narrow your search with additional keywords.
Most orders received by 1:45 PM Pacific Time on business
weekdays will be processed the following business day, although some orders may take an additional business day to process (contact us for more information). Orders received after that time or on weekends or holidays
will be processed within 1-2 business days. You will receive a confirmation e-mail
when your order has been processed that will confirm the ship day and method.
Delivery time will depend on location and shipping method.
Ordering by telephone.
You are welcome to place your order by telephone if you
prefer, or if you want immediate confirmation of availability, shipping
charges for methods other than our base-rate methods, or if you have

We are a real brick-and-mortar dog training service. This means you
will talk to someone who knows pets, and knows the product. It also means
that you will only be able to reach us during regular hours, which are
Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm and Saturday 11am-3pm. All times are Pacific Time. We are
closed on most major US holidays.
It is very helpful for us if you make notes on item names and
numbers when you are browsing our online catalog, and have that information ready for
us when you call.
Shipping Charges and Methods.
All online orders placed through Steve's Store at SteveBrooksK9U.com are shipped via UPS GROUND service. A Flat-Rate Shipping charge of $4.95 is added to all orders during the checkout process. Additional shipping methods like UPS 3-DAY and UPS NEXT DAY SATURDAY DELIVERY may also be available by request only. If you do not want your order shipped via standard UPS GROUND service, you must speak with a SBK9U representative on the phone within 2 hours of placing your order online. To select a different shipping method, call us at (323) 617-4556 during normal business hours and ask Steve or one of his assistants to change the shipping method on your order. Additional shipping charges may apply. Costs as well as additional information for each shipping method are detailed below. Shipping charges are based on the actual charges we pay, and vary with weight and distance from California. The shipping/handling charges for UPS shipments are based on weight or dimension-weight for large, light boxes.
The following options are available:
UPS Shipping Options:
UPS Ground. This is the standard shipping method automatically selected when processing all online orders. You will be charged a Flat-Rate shipping charge of $4.95 for this shipping method. This option is not available outside the 48 continental U.S. states. Transit time varies from 2 days to Northern California locations, to typically 6 days
to East Coast locations, not counting weekends and holidays. The order cutoff
time is 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time; otherwise another day in transit may occur.
UPS 3-Day. Choose this option for delivery by UPS 3-Day
Select. This option is not available outside the 48 states. The 3-Day transit
time does not include weekends or holidays. The order cutoff point is 1:00
p.m. Pacific Time; otherwise another day in transit may occur.
UPS 2-Day. Choose this option for delivery by UPS 2nd Day
Air. This option is available to all 50 states plus Puerto Rico. The 2-Day
transit time does not include weekends or holidays. The order cutoff point is
1:00 p.m. Pacific Time; otherwise another day in transit may occur.
UPS Next Day. Choose this option for delivery by UPS Next Day
Air. This option is available to all 50 states and Puerto Rico. The 1-Day
transit time does not include weekends or holidays (except see Saturday
Delivery below). The order cutoff point is 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time; otherwise
another day in transit may occur.
UPS Next Day Saturday Delivery. This option is available to
most cities, and is only offered if the shipping day is a Friday. The order
cutoff point is 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The charge will be $10.00 more than
standard next-day rates.
Sales Tax.
SBK9U is located in California, and we
must charge sales tax of 7.25% on all orders shipped to California addresses.
No sales tax is charged for shipments to any other state or to other
countries.
Payment Methods.
SBK9U accepts VISA,
Master Card, American Express, and Novus (Discover) credit cards on a
secure server. The order form uses state-of-the-art security to protect your
credit information, but you are also welcome to submit your credit card
number by telephone. If doing so, please use the order form to place your
order but leave the credit card information blank. Place a call to (323) 617-4556. This is a direct number to SBK9U, and is
generally answered during normal business hours Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm and Saturday 11am-3pm. If no one is available,
the line is answered by our voicemail service and you will have the opportunity to leave us a message.
We also accept orders using PayPal. The PayPal system lets you use a
trusted middleman to handle your payment, and is free for personal use. There
is a checkbox on our checkout form to indicate that you will be using PayPal;
you will want to wait for a confirmation from us of the amount to send before
contacting PayPal. Our account name with PayPal is SBK9U, and the e-mail
address is sales@stevebrooksk9u.com. We will reserve the product and guarantee the
price for one week from the date of the order while we wait for your payment
to be received.
Sorry, no C.O.D. shipments.
Accounts and Passwords
We offer customers the option of establishing a
passworded account based on an e-mail address. After establishing an account,
information is pulled from the most recent order placed by that account and
the checkout form is pre-filled. Additionally, credit card info does not need
to be retransmitted with each order.
E-mail addresses collected for this purpose are not used
by us to send anything that is not related to the account process or an order
placed. E-mail addresses are held as private information and not shared with
any outside source. We never send unsolicited e-mail, and the account e-mail
address has nothing to do with our monthly mailing of specials information,
which must be separately requested.
Account holders are also able to access information on
their most recent orders, including UPS tracking info.
Catalog Requests
We are sorry, but SBK9U does not produce a
print catalog. Information presented here is dynamic, and committing it to
print removes one of the most important parts of the internet ordering
experience - access to absolutely current information.
Return Policy.
Our policy is to accept returns of any item within 30
days of your receipt of the order. We will refund shipping costs if the
return is the result of our error or the product is defective.
Please put a copy of the original packing slip in the
carton and wrap the package securely. For your protection, please use UPS for shipment and make sure that the shipment is insured. Please specify whether the return is for refund or a replacement product.
Please note that it may take as many as 3-4 weeks for returns/exchanges and/or refunds to be processed.
For sized items such as dog collars, please leave all
tags attached when trying the item on the pet.

Out-of-stock items.
We do not maintain inventory of store items. SBK9U maintains accounts and/or agreements with several wholesalers and vendors that manufacture and/or otherwise sell/provide all the items that are available for purchase through our online store. We use "Drop shipping" (a common retail technique) as a means of fulfilling orders and managing our supply chain. Occasionally, the product manufacturer and/or vendor may deplete all available inventory for a particular item, placing that item on "back-order." Should this happen, we make every reasonable attempt to update our product listings immediately to reflect the current availability of the items offered in our store. Occasionally human error may cause this process to be delayed or inaccurate, but that is not common. If that happens, we will not automatically back-order items which are not available when your order is shipped. We will notify you of the shortage, and give you the opportunity to direct us regarding the out of stock item.
What about items not in the catalogs?
SBK9U is a dog training service offering a variety of private-lesson, customized and group programs. Steve's Store at SteveBrooksK9U.com offers a selection of high-quality products -- all hand-picked and highly recommended by Steve Brooks himself. Steve have chosen a selection of his favorite and most useful items to offer on the Internet, but we can also supply many other items. Privacy Statement.
We respect our customer's privacy. Customer information
is not shared with any other party. We will not send any unsolicited mail
(electronic or otherwise) other than those associated with orders placed. Our

will immediately remove any e-mail address when we are asked to do so.
